Review: Rice Meal with Fish @ Indian Muslim Food, Blk 136 Marsiling Road
A visit was made on Thursday, 10 December 2020 at 1.30pm.
This is an instance where what you see being advertised on the billboard is not what you get. So on the promise this stall is not giving what they are showing. as for the food, it comes with just the rice portion, 1 type of vegetable (which you don’t get to choose or you were not asked to choose) and the fish curry. While the fish is of reasonable size, the curry is a disappointment if you are expecting a curry as it turns out more like a soup that taste almost like curry.
The meal is rather bland and for a price tag of $5/- the stall owner must be over-confident of his cooking.
Branding and Customer Experience
Do not count on the stall worker to be polite of friendly. The 2 workers look like they are just passing the time.
There is no branding to talk about. The fact that the stall name adopts a generic a-matter-of-fact stall name shows that the owner may have no vision for quality and growth. Essentially the stall is just fulfilling a presence for those looking at Indian or Halal food. An experience at patronizing this stall will leave you with nothing memorable or good to talk about. You are probably better off with the Kawan-Kawan Chicken Rice stall next to it which is far more friendlyA
