A chicken rice stall is almost a must for any food court and at Blk 136 it is no exception. In fact there are 2 stalls selling chicken rice here at this food court. At this Kawan-Kawan Chicken Rice stall, they probably sell among the best chicken rice in the north of Singapore.
They’ve got all of the chicken rice features right – the rice, the chicken, the soup and the chilli. Great taste that my son would eat 2 packets each time for a single meal session. Next to MacKenzie Chicken Rice, this is probably at the top of your pick list if you are in Woodlands area.

Owned and managed first hand by a Chinese couple (husband and wife team), you can expect very friendly and warm reception. The smiles and conversations with the stall owner especially the wife will make you feel that you can buying a meal from a neighbour. For a brand name, Kawan-Kawan will strike you as a friend’s shop or where friends enjoy a meal together.
