Review: Oyster Chicken Noodle @ Puncak, Far East Plaza 05-94.
A visit was made on Saturday, 26 December 2020 at 8pm.
Let me begin by saying that I have been patronising this stall since I the early 90s even before my marriage in 1995 when it was owned by the original owner. So based on 30 years of experience I got to say that I have yet to find another Oyster Chicken Noodle that is nicer than this.
The noodle is always right (but if you are really hungry you got to order 2 plates), the chicken and vegetables are generous and the sambal is addictive.
The taste (portion and quality) remain amazingly consistent over the years. At $4.50 per plate, it got to be the tastiest Oyster Chicken Noodle in SIngapore.
Puncak is Certified Halal.
Branding & Customer Experience
The Puncak makan place is more than 35 years. One can say that is a landmark stall on the 5th floor of the mall. The Chinese couple owners are among the friendliest you can find there and somehow they have managed to keep a small pool of attentive workers. Puncak is a place where you can routinely come back to and never be disappointed. Be prepared to join a queue on weekends or eve of public holidays.
Puncak is closed on every Tuesday.
